Valerie has a clinical background in psychiatry and public health nursing, as well as, administration, which gives her a thorough working knowledge of scope of practice, standards of care, and health care systems. Certification as a Legal Nurse Consultant gives her a depth of understanding of the law, its terminology, and application to cases. Although her major area of practice has been medical malpractice, she is also qualified to deal with cases in personal injury.
